Now offering Yoga & Taiji/Qigong classes!! Learn/practice PhoenixWay Yoga and/or PhoenixWay Taiqi/Qigong from an E-RYT (experienced registered yoga teacher) certified in Integrative Yoga Therapy with 18 years of practice and experience and also a certified Taiqi/Qigong Yang Style Instructor with 28 years of experience, who is also a holistic psychotherapist and life/health coach. Approach yoga and Taiqi/Qigong from an integrative bodymind perspective with emphasis on using experiencing these beautiful healing arts as a vehicle of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and self-actualization, leading to deep physical, mental, and spiritual healing. Most importantly, experience them as fun, safe, relaxing, invigorating, and returning you to who you really are. Classes are approximately 1.5 hours for yoga and 1 hour for Taiqi/Qigong and are trauma sensitive and appropriate for beginners as well as experienced practitioners. Cost is $12 for drop-ins and $10 for current counseling/coaching clients.
Fridays at 6pm for Yoga Chill. Unwind from your stressful week and enjoy a slow, relaxing/restorative yoga class with long holds, low lights, soft music, releasing stress and holding, anxiety and worry, irritation and frustration, regaining inner peace, letting go, and deeeeeep relaxation!! Optionally, stick around afterwards for yoga social, sharing snacks, kiirtan music, and good vibes with great people. Bring your own healthy, plant-based snacks to share w/other yogis and yoginis. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and other props you prefer (bolster, block, strap, eye cover, etc.).
Saturdays at 9:30am for Experience Taiji/Qigong. Start your weekend off with the beautiful, flowing movements of standing Taiqi/Qigong, integrating breathing, slow movements, and mindful meditation, while improving physical, mental, and emotional health. Classes will be outdoors and/or windows open when appropriate! Two-person practice will be included per interest to improve flowing with the energy of others. Come dressed in comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather.
