The phoenix is a powerful symbol in the greatest cultures of the world of transformation, rebirth, renewal, light, healing, and immortality, which can can give us encouragement and guidance on our own paths of transformation and healing in this world.
The Way has often been used by the greatest spiritual leaders in the world to describe their movement. Early Christianity was referred to as The Way by its practitioners, as was Buddhism. Lao Tze's great work of Taoism "The Tao Te Ching" is the "Book of the Way." In Japan and Korea, many martial arts as well as other schools or arts end in "-do" which also means "way." |
