Scholarship Program

Scholarships are now available for college students who are struggling financially, especially when they have inadequate insurance and little family support.  These are available for students who are in good standing academically, are working or have a good reason not to be working, and are trying their best to be successful, are of good character, and are trying to make a difference in the world.

Students identified as candidates for this program will qualify for reduced rates for copays, coinsurance, or private pay sessions (if they don't have insurance).  Interested students can apply [HERE].

Single Mental Health Counseling or Transformation Coaching Sessions

Private pay rate (no insurance) is currently:
$150 per 75-minute session.  

Mental Health Counseling (Holistic Psychotherapy)
Currently, mental health counseling sessions can be private pay or I accept Aetna (including First Health), Blue Cross Blue Shield (including Anthem & Empire), Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance (CBHA), Humana, MedCost, UnitedHealthcare (including Optum, United Behavioral Health & UMR), & VA Community Care insurance.  Health insurance requires a mental health issue/diagnosis.   I currently cannot accept Medicaid or Medicare plans.

Transformation Coaching
Coaching is private pay only and does not require or use a mental health issue/diagnosis.

Private/Group Yoga/Taiji/Qigong Instruction, Reiki Treatments

Current rate is $80 per 60-minute private session; 
$120 per 90-minute private session.

Yoga or Yoga Therapy
Bring your own mat and props.  Instruction indoors or out in quiet setting.  Focus on developing your own home practice, addressing your health concerns/needs, and on deep relaxation.

Taiqi or Qigong
Bring your own soft shoes and uniform (optional).  Gentle instruction in quiet setting, indoors or out.  Focus on developing a healing, non-martial practice, addressing health concerns, body mind integration.

Reiki
Wear loose, comfortable clothing.  Treatments given with clothing on, on massage table or massage floor cushion.  Deep, rejuvenating healing either with hands on or over body.

Yoga or Taiji/Qigong Group Classes (when scheduled)
$15/class Drop-In Fee; $12/class for Current Counseling/Coaching Clients
Cancellation Policy.  Please respect that I have a limited schedule as a sole provider and want to be available for my clients as much as possible.  Last minute cancellations prevent other clients from getting appointments, including you.  They also can negatively impact my earnings.  Please cancel/reschedule your appointments from the link in the confirmation email you receive for your appointment or text me more than 24 hours before your appointment whenever possible.  A cancellation fee of $50 may be charged if appointments are no-showed or cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment.  No-shows (without informing) may be subject to the entire fee for the session.  Exceptions can be made, especially for work or personal/family emergencies (not inconveniences), so please contact me to discuss your circumstances.  The fee may also be waived, if the appointment is rescheduled and attended during the same week.  Thank you for your understanding and support of this policy to provide the optimal availability for clients in need of therapy with limited sessions available.

Payment Methods.  In order to reduce the cost of credit transaction fees and to further ensure your privacy, I do accept payment by personal check, cash, or transfer via payment apps for the amount due for counseling, coaching, or consultation sessions.  Payments are due as soon as sessions are completed.
